Bishops was established as an Anglican Church school in 1849 and is served by Chaplains from the Anglican Church. Rev Terry Wilke is the current Chaplain and he, together with Justin Woolls, is responsible for the church and day to day spiritual concerns of the school. Justin Woolls is involved in the Prep in the teaching of Divinity classes from grade R through to grade 7, taking Assembly and Chapel services and in the day to day life of the Prep. Justin also runs a Christian Club called The Mustard Seed for grade 6 and 7 boys. Both Terry and Justin are involved in issues of a personal and spiritual nature. Fr Terry is a trained and registered Psychologist as well as an ordained minister in the Anglican Church. All chapel services are arranged through the Chaplain. These include baptisms, weddings, funerals, confirmation and admission to First Holy Communion.
