Last week Friday, our newly selected General Knowledge quiz team for 2023, Uzayr Johaar, Seth Burns, David Douglas, Nick Young, Aran Maharaj and me, Khalil Crookes (reserves Ismaeel Darsot & Wynand Van Zyl) travelled to Herzlia High School for the first round of the Inter Schools General Knowledge Quiz Competition. It was very exciting, and our team really enjoyed it. At the end of the day’s competition, we finished with 71 points, only 10 points from first place. We came 6th out of 17 teams. Well done, boys!
