The Grade 1 and 2 boys enjoy their soccer practices during the school day in place of Ballskills during the 2nd and 3rd terms. Playball assist us with these practices. Each class has a half hour practice period during which the group is coached by two competent coaches. The school has provided the equipment and there is sufficient to ensure that all the boys are actively involved during these sessions. Skills are developed with each lesson having an outcome which needs to be achieved. The rules of soccer are also taught to the boys and they have an opportunity during each lesson to put what has been learnt into practice.
